Outstanding digital insurance experience
Former OK! Teleseguros, a Portuguese company, is widely known in the country. Positioned as “the digital insurance company in Portugal”, the well-known brand challenged us to revamp its public site, making sure it matched its new brand identity.
That’s how ok! seguros was born. A new name, site, and identity — all in all, to reinforce its core products and services while increasing awareness about a fresh digital approach.
Goal
The challenge was to create a revamped site that would match its new identity and logo and provide an outstanding user experience while digitalizing the brand’s primary services. So we focused on delivering smooth navigation to each user while reinforcing the company’s history and experience.
But the challenge went further, as we also built a brand-new components library, with components and guidelines to be used across all touchpoints (such as the app and simulation tools).
The design process
We created a smooth process that was both visually attractive and valuable to the user. This called for a thought-out step-by-step process. After the kick-off, we were submerged in deep UX research and validation, as ok! seguros was a big part of the process. That step was followed by content validation, ending in the UI design and validation phases.
Look & Feel
First, we created a customized Components Library and Guidelines document, crucial for the whole process — not only for the site’s look & feel but also across multiple touchpoints. We created a transversal language interface, for both online and offline channels. To guarantee a flawless implementation, we partnered with WYcreative, the team behind creating the new brand identity.

An insurance company typically has a complex site. So we walked a different path. We created a fresh digital experience with smooth navigation — combining products, features, and legal and compliance rules.
Fostering loyalty
ok! seguros’ site is the brand’s first touchpoint with potential clients, who need to not only have the best experience, but also perceive ok! seguros’ quality and trustworthiness.
The personalized products and the self-service options contributed to reinforcing this perception. Besides that, by giving their clients complete control of new contracts (started on the website) and adopting an “all-in-one approach”, ok! seguros positioned themselves as the go-to insurance provider.
