Design on the Road

Events

At Bliss Applications, people, collaboration, and continuous growth drive great Design. Sometimes, we shared, and for others, we absorbed.

Over the past few months, some of our designers have stepped out of the studio to engage with the design community — as speakers, attendees, and active contributors to industry conversations.

Welcome to the third edition of Design on the Road.

Jornadas de Acessibilidade 2025

Ruben Duarte spoke at the Jornadas de Acessibilidade in March, a key event promoting digital inclusion. His talk focused on how design can—and must — create accessible experiences for everyone, a mission deeply aligned with our values at Bliss.

Meet-up: “Into Design Systems”

Also in March, Cátia Neves shared the stage at this Figma-centered event focused on Design Systems. Her talk explored our approach to building consistent, scalable systems that empower both designers and developers.

lxDA – Lisbon Experience Design

In April, Ruben also took the stage at lxDA, where Lisbon’s UX community came together to share, learn, and connect. It was an inspiring day full of insight, where Ruben highlighted how strategic Design can shape impactful digital products.

Leadership Ateliers

As partners of the Leadership Ateliers, we were proud to have a strong presence among the attendees. Loubna Ibrahim, Maria Gonzalez, Isabella Simão, and António Abreu joined insightful sessions on creative leadership and team building in the design world.

Config Watch Party

Last year, the Config Watch Party was at our beach house. This year, the Figma Config Watch Party was at EDIT’s, and we had the pleasure of having Ruben Duarte lead one of the sessions, focusing on accessibility. It was an amazing opportunity to join the global design community and tune into the latest news.

CCP Festival 2025

Ruben closed this season of events as a moderator at the 2025 Clube de Criativos de Portugal Festival, one of the country’s most prominent stages for creative dialogue and innovation.

Why do we do it?

Whether speaking, attending, or partnering, participating in these events is about more than visibility. It’s our commitment to learning, sharing knowledge, and staying connected with the design community so we can continue to grow, evolve, and deliver exceptional work.

The journey continues. We’re still on the road. See you at the next stop.

Low-code, career and opportunities from Bliss CTO’s perspective

We’ve been covering this key technology in our academies, courses, and talks. At the moment, OutSystems is a stack that will be used for Process Optimization. It’s easy to prototype and grow, integrates well, and hides complex systems well.
